tagaluahan , pres garcia, popooo basiao, bogo ..are the original places of the ursos families

THIS IS THE MAP OF THE ISLAND OF PITOGO..OFF FROM THE MAINLAND NEAR THE TOWN OF UBAY...  THIS IS THE ORIGINAL PLACE OF URSOS BEFORE

ALTHOUGH ITAY IYONG ( IRENEO URSOS ) CAME FROM ANTIQUE...OF PANAY ISLAND..  BUT HIS FAMILY WENT TO SETTLE AT THE ISLAND OF PITOGO.. AND MOST OF HIS FAMILY ARE NOW BECAME BOL-ANON BY VIRTUE OF THOSE BOL-ANON WIVES..

EXAMPLE..
aLBINO URSOS..ALTHOUH HIS FATHER IS FROM ANTIQUE..BUT HIS WIFE IS MARIA DEGOLA FROM UBAY..SO THE NEW URSOS GENERATIONS AR ENOW CONSIDERED BOL-ANON

MANDING TUA URSOS MARRIED ROSENDO SENTE..FROM POPOO BASIAO BOHOL..

THE FAMILIES OF INKO DOROT URSOS..HER WIFE WAS IGNACIA ROSALES ..THAT CAME FROM BAUD PRESIDENT GARCIA... SO IT MEANS BLOODLINE OF THE CHILDREN OF INKO DOROT ARE 50 PERCENT FROM ANTIQUE AND 50 PERCENT FROM PRESIDENT GARCIA BOHOL..

NOTE:
ANTIQUE IS THE PROVINCE YOU WILL TAKE TO PASS BY IF YOU WANT TO COME TO THE KNOWN ... BORACAY BEACH...

BARANGAY POPOO  IS THE ENTRANCE OF PITOGO ISLAND FROM THE PORT OF UBAY BOHOL..

BASIAO  IS THE BARANGAY..TAGALUAHAN IS A SITIO UNDER BASIAO..
TAGALUAHAN BASIAO IS WHERE THE FIRST HOUSE OF ITAY IYONG AND INAY JUANA WAS CONSTRUCTED..

taglikid the place of ursos family far away from basiao bohol

The beginning of Taglikid was a lush forest.. it was the Ursos families from basiao who started the cultivation of the land until it  became a barrio.. marciano, amando and benjamen planted coconut all over the taglikid..

Taglikid was a rugged terrain of a paradise..
The story about how the ursos family came to Taglikid, San francisco agusan sur..

at first Amando ursos have settled in Davao city at the Catalunan Grande.. the Amando ursos families owned around 24 hectares in Catalunan grande as a part of his compensation as a surviving soldier during the war... Lolo amando Ursos was a USAFEE  veteran who used to station at Sta Ana, Davao city.

there was an ursos named Marciano ursos.. a nephew of Amando Ursos whose father was Dikoy. Well... Dikoy Ursos was a brother of Amando ursos.. Before Amando went to Davao.. Dikoy was a barangay captain of Popoo Basiao Bohol.

Marciano ursos went to Davao to visit Amando.. upon learning that Their grandmother was from Agusan..marciano went to explore the possibility of owning some lands somewhere in his grand mother..Inay Juana dumaplin ursos.
So indeed..marciano came to agusan...
After sometime.. marciano came back to Davao and told Amando that there is a land near San Francisco Agusan Sur... offered to them by the natives..

So ..amando ursos accompanied Marciano to San francisco.. and it was a good fortune . the first mayor of san francisco agusan sur...  hired Amando ursos to be the chief of Police of the town consiering that he was a USAFEE veteran...

This brings them to settle at Agusan..  marciano went back to Basiao Bohol and brought all those interested ursos to come to Agusan and settle with them.  Manang Bidang Guzman came.. almost half of the Dikoy ursos came to Agusan.. nong Joel, titing, and even Toring ursos came to Agusan. and also Benjamen ursos..

The ursos families open the great forest into a an agricultural settlement and they called it... TAGLIKID.

At the west side where the barrio proper is located are the houses of Marciano ursos and his brothers... and they came to buy the lands from the natives..

At the east side..near the creek was the lands of amando ursos of which he bought it from the natives too...

That was Taglikid... 60 years ago... a forest..but now it becomes a booming Residential villages of the town..

Taglikid .. is almost 30 minutes away from the beaches of Surigao del sur.. At Quezon surigao sur..the families of peran Ursos Puracan came to settle...

dr jun ursos idea

I LIKE TO SHARE TO YOU IDEAS OF DR JUN... AMO POD NI GIHISGUTAN NI JULISON AMOREN, GRACE MERIN CHIT UG SUZETTE TIMAAN..WE SUPPORT THIS.. FROM THE URSOS FILES : WEBSITE http://ursosfiles.blogspot.com/ ======================= Dr. Jun Ursos shared this one... WE NEED TO ESTABLISH A MEANS TO ASSIST OUR CLAN MEMBERS TO SURVIVE AND SUCCEED.
. I'm floating this ideas as conversation starters. That means, I'm not claiming these ideas are THE ONLY way. This post should encourage others to think...and share their ideas ; I propose that the Ursos Clan go into a LENDING BUSINESS VENTURE. You may also call it, let's incorporate and create a BANK; With the following GOAL: to provide capital to duly approved loans for any local and financially viable small-scale business ideas or projects from any Ursos clan member in particular and/or the community in general. Its CHARACTERISTICS would be: 1. small, short term business loan 2. low interest rate for all Ursos clan members 3. basically income generating project Personal loans for nonbusiness purposes (like vacations, or renovating your house) will be allowed only after a few years when the business venture can withstand losses; This business may succeed with the following initial STRATEGIES: 1. generate capital in 3-9 years (or more) 2. install a good educational program to inform the members and gather business proposals 3. choose one or two business proposals with a high chance of success as a start. 4. organize chapters for education and income generation purposes 5. train Ursos clan members to run the company 6. develop means to make the business a good investment vehicle for all Ursos clan members..; SUCCESS, in both levels of our lending business and the loan applicant, should be defined as: 1. progressive income generation 2. problem-free in repayment of loans 3. high number of Ursos clan members benefitted 4. augmented capital for the bank/lending business..; How do we GENERATE THE NECESSARY CAPITAL? Consider these: 1. Every adult Ursos contributes Php10.00 per month for 3-9 years! P10/month x 12 months = P120.00 x 3 years = P360 x 1000 Ursos members = P360,000 a. I gathered from Rey's post that there are an estimated 1,000 Ursoses, probably more. b. The amount can be changed to P20 and you will arrive at a bigger amount in short a time c. Retain P10/month contribution but increase the number of years of collection to ensure the survival of the business. That's P1.08 million in 9 years! But the above example calculation will allow serving loans as early as the 3rd year! d. it presupposes that all 1000 Ursoses will contribute and contribute regularly without fail. 2. Receive donations from well off Ursos members 3. Receive donations from other business institutions. 4. Receive donations from the general community 5. Matching donations from any Ursos member. For example, for every P10,000 donation or contribution made by the Ursos clan, it will be matched 5 times (P50,000) from an Ursos member or group of Ursos members..; 6. Make as an incentive to convert individual contributions into "shares of stock" with the dividends reinfused back to the capital for reinvestment. A. Is this idea doable? B. Is this the most appropriate business idea for the clan based on local or national financial conditions? C. Do you have any other ideas? If so, post it here in our FB wall for our leaders/elders to consider when they finally decide to sit down and do something about their desire to help the clan. D. Other ideas: pension & retirement plan, life and non-life insurance plans, education funds..; THIS IS SOME PROPOSALS OF DR. JUN URSOS AND I LIKE IT. I ALWAYS TALK WITH JULISON URSOS AMOREN AND BOTH OF US AGREE TO PROPOSE A SELF LIQUIDATING ENTERPRIZE ANYWAY WE DO IT FOR THE FAMILY...ITS NOT FOR US.. BUT THE PROJECT WILL MAKE US CONTINUE IN A MORE MEANINGFUL FRIENDSHIP ; ;

nelias long message to ursos family

This is a very long message but please take time to read if you have time...

What are your dreams in life? I bet we all have different dreams to say - to finish college, have a good job, own a house, have a good husband/wife and children, pay debts, and etc.

How will you feel if you know somebody who are struggling? Will you pray? Will you extend help even if you just have enough for the day? Or will you just walk away and say, I'm sorry, you chose your life that way and just work hard so you will be successful too?

If God gave you all your needs and wants, and you were thankful because God is faithful in your life, will you be willing to share?

Did you ever take every opportunity in a positive way and have joy in doing it because you want to do more for God and His people? Are you a Risk Taker for God no matter what other people will say to you?

I have been working things that I had never done before. Things that will challenge my limitations. But I know I have an unlimited God who can work wonders and miracles. My fear of so many things were covered by the love of God and His presence in my life. When God does things through us, it is not always comfortable. If I am scared to lose, then I will not gain. But even if I will lose for the sake of the Gospel and God's people, I will take it all joy for His glory alone. So what are your worries? What are you scared of? Are you scared of losing some things?

I have been trying to ask people to support our projects and our business to be a blessing to others. There are so many rich people out there, many people with great jobs. There are many of them who shared their blessings but there are many of them also who find it so hard to release and share what they have because they are saving it all for themselves or family (which is perfectly good). However, let us not limit ourselves because God wants us all to reach out to others especially those who are in need as we can. Let us use our time, talents, gifts and money to bless others. We cannot say that we don't have anything to give because we have everything. We have God, love, smiles, words of encouragement, prayers, and etc. And if we will say that we cannot give because we don't have money, look at the poor widow in

Mark 12:41-43

41 And He sat down opposite the treasury and saw how the crowd was casting money into the treasury. Many rich [people] were throwing in large sums.

42 And a widow who was poverty-stricken came and put in two copper mites [the smallest of coins], which together make [a]half of a cent.

43 And He called His disciples [to Him] and said to them, Truly and surely I tell you, this widow, [she who is] poverty-stricken, has put in more than all those contributing to the treasury.

Big money given are well appreciated but a big heart for God and His people no matter what amount is given is more than a blessing. It is beyond words.

2 Corinthians 9:6-8

6 [Remember] this: he who sows sparingly and grudgingly will also reap sparingly and grudgingly, and he who sows generously [[a]that blessings may come to someone] will also reap generously and with blessings.

7 Let each one [give] as he has made up his own mind and purposed in his heart, not reluctantly or sorrowfully or under compulsion, for God loves (He [b]takes pleasure in, prizes above other things, and is unwilling to abandon or to do without) a cheerful (joyous, “prompt to do it”) giver [whose heart is in his giving].

8 And God is able to make all grace (every favor and [c]earthly blessing) come to you in abundance, so that you may always and under all circumstances and whatever the need [d]be self-sufficient [possessing enough to require no aid or support and furnished in abundance for every good work and charitable donation].

Let us bless our family but let us also extend our blessings to anyone. You can do it yourself, you can support different mission agencies, you can support any workers for the Lord especially those who are in the frontline field and in a very hostile place. Pray about it. And do it all with joy and peace in your heart.

May God be glorified in all that we do. God bless and Shalom!

TAKE GOOD CARE OF YOUR HEALTH

FROM THE URSOS FILES : WEBSITE http://ursosfiles.blogspot.com/

. ADVICE FROM YOUR COUSIN ; BEST WAYS TO PROTECT YOUR KIDNEYS By Dr. Willie T. Ong (Internist and Cardiologist) 1. Limit your salt intake -- Too much salt is not only bad for your blood pressure,such as fish sauce, soy sauce, plain salt and salted fish. Even instant noodles, chips and nuts are teeming with salt. The problem with salt is that it encourages the body to retain water, and can increase your blood pressure (which damages the kidneys); 2. Don't load up on high protein foods such as meat. Eat a balanced diet of rice, vegetables, fish and fruits and you can't go wrong; 3. Keep your blood pressure at 130/80 or lower -- If your blood pressure is above 140 over 90, this can cause kidney damage within five years..; 4. Keep your blood sugar below 120 mg/dl -- Diabetes and high blood pressure are the two leading causes of kidney failure. A person with uncontrolled diabetes for 5-10 years may develop significant kidney damage..; 5. Drink 8 glasses of water a day - Drinking enough water also prevents the formation of kidney stones..; 6. Watch your intake of pain relievers and other drugs -- Taking pain relievers like mefenamic acid, ibuprofen and the coxibs (like celecoxib) for a prolonged period of time may cause kidney damage..; 7. Be careful with tests and procedures using contrast dyes consult a kidney specialist before undergoing such procedures. 8. Don't drink too much Vitamin C -- Excess vitamin C (ascorbic acid) can lead to the formation of kidney stones in predisposed individuals. If you need to take vitamin C, a dose of 500 mg or less is safer ; ;
